Babies
who are held are happier, cry less and learn more because they see and
hear all the sights and sounds that you do. This helps stimulate their
cognitive and social development as well as promoting a secure bond
between parent and infant. Slings allow the infant to hear your
heartbeat, smell your scent and be comforted by your warmth, all these
help promote a nurturing environment that create a confident and secure
child.
